I have a bad habit of barely resisting the urge to press the "like" button on facebook statuses when I know I shouldn't. So it's time to collect a list of statuses that I really WANT to "like" but won't, mostly out of consideration for others.
Life's been difficult financially this summer. Very much so. I haven't gotten great hours at work because that's how a TSS's life is when school isn't in session.
Kagan moved in with me and Moses after he graduated last semester, which has been really awesome. He's working as a menu chef at Willow Valley and as my personal chef at Sunnybrook Townhouses making me awesome food when I'm very hungry. Moses is moving out in a month, but hopefully we will soon have someone else to split the rent with. /fingers-crossed
I spent a LOT of time this summer writing my D&D campaign Panthea. We've gone through a couple of rough transitions lately, but hopefully that's all done and we can really get this party started. This has been my best DM work so far and I'm pretty excited to see the story unravel (and change! when the PCs do the unexpected!). Jack, Sly, Kagan, and I are playing at my house this Saturday, so I'm very excited about that.
I've found that the stress of work (even though I'm working less, I feel like I'm doing twice as much work as during the school year) needs to be balanced out by quality recreational time. I've tried to be really good at occassionally doing nothing but relaxing this summer and I've been pretty successful in that.
